Past and Future


Background: 


At age 12, I began racing as a Squaw Valley Ski Team athlete. Before long, my focus on racing intensified in conjunction with success. After qualifying for two prestigious international competitions at the age of 14, I realized how much I enjoyed this level of racing and how much farther I wanted to go in the sport. Since then, I have worked my way up the ranks to earn a spot on the United States Ski Team where I continue to push my limits and be the best I can be to make it to the top. 

Achievements: 
-Member of U.S. Ski Team since 2010
-Member of 2012 and 2013 U.S. World Junior Championship Team
-Top American finisher in the World Junior Championship Slalom in 2012
-Third place in the Junior Giant Slalom at the 2013 U.S. National Championships
-Finished top 15 in the 2013 Nor-Am Cup season for the Overall, Slalom, and Giant Slalom standings
-Nationally ranked #1 Giant Slalom, #2 in Super G, and #3 in Slalom at the end of 2013 race season for females born in ‘93

Aspirations for Upcoming 2013/2014 Season:

-Earn a World Cup spot in GS 
-Represent the U.S. in Sochi, Russia for the 2014 Winter Olympic Games
-Consistently be top 5 at Nor-Am Cup races 
-Win top three Nor-Am Cup GS Title
-Qualify for the World Junior Team
-Get at least one top 5 result at World Junior Championships
-Get at least one top 5 result at U.S. National Championships
-Be top 3 Junior in SL, GS, SG, and Combined at U.S. National Championships
-Make B or C Team U.S. Ski Team Criteria 
-Earn a World Cup spot for 2013/2014 season

Aspirations for Long-Term Career: 

-Compete in two Winter Olympics
-Win a gold medal at the Winter Olympics
-Be a prominent force on the World Cup circuit
-Win a World Cup Title
-Win three events at U.S. Nationals
